Roof Repair & Replacement
Roof Repair, Replacement & Emergency Tarping in Cincinnati
A roof leak is where a lot of water damage starts. Dry Effect tarps the roof to stop the water, repairs or replaces the shingle roof, and dries out and rebuilds whatever got wet inside, so one company handles it from the first call to the last shingle. We answer 24/7, give you a written estimate before any work starts, and our roof inspections are done by a Haag-certified inspector, the same roof-damage training insurance adjusters use, with photos you can give your insurance company.
Our Process
How Roof Repair & Replacement Works
A proven, step-by-step approach to getting your property back to normal.
Emergency Tarp
When water is coming in, we tarp the damaged part of the roof to stop it, 24/7. A tarp protects the house until the roof can be repaired or replaced.
Inspect & Document
A Haag-certified inspector checks the shingles, flashing, vents and decking for storm and wear damage, and we look inside for wet insulation, drywall and ceilings. You get photos of what we found.
Repair or Replace
We tell you straight whether a repair will do or the roof needs replacing, with a written estimate. Repairs cover missing or damaged shingles, flashing and leaks; replacements are a full tear-off and new shingle roof.
Dry & Rebuild Inside
If the leak soaked insulation, drywall or ceilings, we dry it and put it back, so you are not calling three different companies for one leak.

FAQ
Common Roof Repair & Replacement Questions
Yes. If water is coming through the roof, call (513) 763-2121. We answer 24/7, respond within 60 minutes, and tarp the damaged area to stop the water until the roof is repaired.
A repair usually makes sense when the damage is limited to a few shingles, some flashing or one leak and the rest of the roof is sound. Replacement makes more sense when damage is spread across the roof, shingles are curling or losing their granules all over, there are several leaks, or the decking underneath is soft. Most asphalt shingle roofs last roughly 20 to 30 years. We look at yours and tell you which it needs.
Sudden storm damage, like wind, hail or a fallen tree, is often covered; wear and age usually are not. You are responsible for your deductible. We document the damage with photos and give you a written estimate you can share with your insurance company. Be careful with anyone who offers to pay or waive your deductible: in Kentucky that is against the law, and anywhere it is a red flag.
Ohio and Kentucky do not issue a statewide roofing license; cities set their own rules. Dry Effect is a registered general contractor with the City of Cincinnati, which requires proof of liability insurance and workers' compensation, and our roof inspections are done by a Haag-certified inspector.
No. Dry Effect repairs and replaces shingle roofs only.
Yes. That is what we do every day: drying wet insulation, drywall and ceilings, checking for mold, and rebuilding what had to come out. One company for the roof and the inside.
