Who we are
These terms cover dryeffect.com and the Dry Effect plugin for ChatGPT, run by Dry Effect LLC, 4335 River Rd, Ste 101, Cincinnati, OH 45204. By using either, you agree to these terms.
General information, not an inspection
What the website and the plugin tell you about water damage, mold, insurance and safety is general information. It is not a professional inspection of your property, and it is not legal, medical or insurance advice. If anyone is in danger, call 911. For health symptoms, talk to a doctor.
Prices are ranges, not quotes
Price ranges come from jobs we have billed and show what past jobs cost. They are not a quote for your job. Work is done only under a written estimate or agreement that you approve, and that agreement governs the job.
Asking us to call you
When you ask us to call you, through a form on our website or through the plugin, you agree that the information you give is accurate and that you are the property owner or manage the property. We take requests from property owners and property managers, not tenants. Asking for a call does not create a contract or guarantee a time we will arrive.
Using the plugin and website properly
Do not send false requests, other people’s information without their permission, or automated or abusive traffic. We may block requests that do.
No warranty for the information
We work to keep the information accurate and current, but it is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, Dry Effect is not liable for decisions made based on the website or the plugin alone. Warranties on our work, such as the 5-year transferable mold warranty on our Best package, are given in writing for that job.
